Kyoshi Paul is an 8th Dan in the Zen Okinawa Seidokan Karate Kobudo Toide Renmei and an internationally recognized Martial Arts Instructor who has been a student of the arts since 1960.

One of the founders of the associated Okinawan Karate Academies, he began his training while stationed in the Orient with the United States Navy Seals. Today he is a senior representative of Grand Master Shian Toma's Seidokan systems in the United States.

Mr. Paul is among the nation's foremost authorities in the art of Okinawan Weaponry, or Kobudo, and the ancient history of the arts. He has trained in Chinese Kenpo, Okinawan karate, Okinawan Toide, Japanese Karate, Shorinji Kempo, Shorinji-Ryu and Okinawan Kobudo.

He has had the opportunity to train under a veritable who's who of the leading masters of Japan and Okinawa. The two most significant include Grand Master Seikichi Uehara, the 12th Soke Of Motobu Udun Ti, and Grand Master Shian Toma, the head of the Zen Okinawa Seidokan Karate Kobudo Renmei systems worldwide.

Mr. Paul also holds the rank of 8th Dan in Shorinji Kempo Karate and 7th Dan in Kobudo.

Kyoshi Paul is the founder and president of the International Seidokan Motobu-Ryu Rengokai.
