The words above were seen by every student of Sensei Tomas at the front of his dojo. These same words grace the front of most every USA Seidokan Dojo.
Within these web pages, one will find a library and valuable resources to all Seidokan practitioners. We represent the United States Seidokan Community that united at Cedaredge Colorado and took control of our destiny to preserve the rich past tradition and carry forward Sensei Shian Toma's martial art systems. From that point forward we are known as the USA Chapter of the Ryukoku Seidokan Karate Kobudo Renmei (USARSKKR). We are subbordinant to the Honbu Dojo in Okinawa and serves as the seat of our art internationally.
The organization that our headmaster created in 1984 is the Zen Okinawa Seidokan Karate Kobudo Renmei (All Okinawan Seidokan Karate and Kobudo Federation [ZOSKKTR]). He is now retired and has charged us to govern ourselves, train, share, and propagate. Sensei Ron Nix of Okinawa has been given the leadership of Seidokan Internationally (RSKKR) while Sensei Shigimitsu Tamae will govern Seidokan on the island of Okinawa. Together they will oversee the growth of future Seidokanka for the next few generations.
